基于烷基和芳基间自分类识别的可控超分子聚合

摘要
最近,我们建立了一种基于自分类识别的可控超分子聚合方法。在此基础上,我们设计了一个含有烷基链(C_n)和芳基(Np)的双官能团分子(Np-C_n-Np)。将单体与两种主体分子混合后,葫芦[7]脲和C_n之间的结合构筑一个刚性的连接基团,葫芦[8]脲和Np的选择性识别能够将单体链接起来,从而促进并控制了链型超分子聚合物的形成。由于自分类识别过程的动态性质,我们能够通过调整葫芦[7]脲的比例,控制刚性基团在超分子聚合物中的比例,有效地控制超分子聚合物的聚合度,从而拓展了通过自分类识别的方法实现可控超分子聚合的应用领域。
Self-sorting is one of effective strategies to realize control over supramolecular polymerization. In this work, we designed a bifunctional monomer(Np-Cn-Np) bearing an alkyl chain(C_n) and two naphthalene moieties(Np). By mixing the monomer with two kinds of host molecules, the selective recognition between Np and cucurbit[8]uril(CB[8]) can link up the monomer, and the complexation between C_n and cucurbit[7]uril(CB[7]) can construct a rigid linker to promote and control the linear supramolecular polymerization. On accounts of the dynamic nature of the self-sorting process, we can control the ratio of the rigid linkers in our polymer chains by changing the content of CB[7], thus the degree of supramolecular polymerization can be well tuned. This research advances a strategy to fabricate linear supramolecular polymers under control, and it will enrich the method of self-sorting to realize controllable supramolecular polymerization.
