摘要
在《最蓝的眼睛》中,托尼·莫里森综合运用了三种内涵丰富的叙事策略与小说主题紧密结合,刻画了黑人小女孩佩科拉的悲惨遭遇。小说借用儿童读物《迪克与简》破碎的文字片段,讽刺了白人压迫黑人的残酷现实;以暗含的两条分叉的母女关系,道出了作者对黑人出路的思索;采用四季作为章节标题,形成轮回结构,暗示了黑人女孩的悲剧也会如四季轮回一样循环发生。
In The Bluest Eye,Toni Morrison uses three meaningful narrative strategies which are combined with the theme in depicting the miserable life of a black little girl called Pecola. The piecemeal sentences of Dick and Jane are adopted to satirize the brutal reality that the white people oppress the black people; two separate lines of mother and daughter are used for contrast,expressing author's thinking on the solutions of black people; seasons are used as the titles of chapters in the novel which form the cyclic structure and imply the cyclic occurrence of black girls' tragedy.
