一种新型天然气管道壁厚测量系统

摘要
精准的长输天然气管道壁厚测量对于管道无损检测数据的正确解释具有重要意义。由于缺乏液态耦合剂,常规的超声波检测系统难以对天然气管道进行在役检测。针对天然气管道的特殊工况,研发了一种基于固态耦合剂的在役天然气管道壁厚测量系统。实验结果表明该系统壁厚测量精度与常规的超声波测厚仪相当,实现了天然气管道壁厚测量目标。
It is great significant for the accurate acquisition of wall thickness data with regard to the correct data interpretation of the non-destructive testing data. Due to the lack of liquid coupling medium, the conventional ultrasonic wall thickness measurement system is difficult to carry out Inline Inspection(ILI) in the natural-gas pipeline. Because of the special work condition, a new type of ultrasonic wall thickness measurement system based on solid couplant has been developed to implement ILI. The experimental result shows that the system has same measurement accuracy compared with piezoelectric ultrasonic thickness meter, which realizes the goal of thickness measurement for natural-gas pipeline.
