摘要
文学翻译历来被视为翻译界的高峰,文学翻译本身也充满了各种复杂的元素,文学翻译无目的论盛行。本文结合翻译功能理论中的目的论理论,对心理小说之父亨利·詹姆斯的大作《四次会面》的小说要素进行研究,窥探英语小说中译的秘径。《四次会面》语言晦涩,复句多,句子充满多元性与复杂性,本文以哲学中的自由选择与命定论为切入点,用小说分析的视角以及翻译功能理论中目的论的维度解构《四次会面》中的翻译艺术。
Literary translation boasting various complex translating factors,which is deemed as the hardest translation,and dysteleology is widely accepted.Combined with the theory of skopos in functional translation theory,this paper aims to find a new way to help translating literary works.By analyzing Henry James' s masterpiece Four Meetings which characterized equivocal and ambiguity.Under the guidance of determinism and free choice in philosophy,this paper deconstructed the translation methods of Four Meetings in the perspective of novel analysis and skopos.
