微带双模谐振器在增益均衡器设计中的应用

摘要
本文设计了一个基于微带双模谐振器的新型增益均衡器。通过调节开路枝节的长度实现独立调节偶模的谐振频率;研究了双模谐振器的电流的分布特点,找到薄膜电阻的最佳加载位置,实现独立调节微带双模谐振器两个模式的Q值。该均衡器具有很好的调节能力,并减小了一半数量的谐振器,很好的满足了均衡器小型化的要求。测量结果和仿真结果一致性较好。
A gain equalizer based on microstrip dual-mode resonators is presented and designed. The resonant frequency of even mode can be tuned independently by adjusting the length of open stub; the current characteristics of the dual-mode resonator are studied, and the optimal loading positions of the thin film resistors are found, thus the Q values of the two modes of microstrip cavity are realized to tune independently for the first time. The proposed equalizer has a very good capacity for tune, and reduces the number of cavities by half; thus it is good to meet the requirements of miniaturization of the gain equalizer. The measurement results are in good agreement with the simulation results.
