单核细胞增生李斯特菌群体感应研究进展

群体感应是细菌生长过程中释放特定的信号分子,通过感知环境中群体密度变化,进而调控某些特定基因表达的生理现象。单核细胞增生李斯特菌(Listeria monocytogenes,LM)是重要的食源性病原菌,研究发现以AgrD信号分子为基础的群体感应系统主要参与生物膜形成、调节毒力因子表达,而以AI-2信号分子为基础的群体感应系统研究尚处于初步阶段,研究发现其参与生物膜形成。本文作者结合所在课题组的相关研究工作取得的进展,围绕单增李斯特菌以AgrD和AI-2为信号通路的群体感应系统如何调控sigmaB、chiA/chiB和inlA等毒力因子,生物膜形成相关的DltA、Lmo0959和SOD等蛋白表达进行探讨。作者最后对通过群体淬灭彻底清除以生物膜形式存在的LM和研制新型抗菌药物的前景进行了展望。
Quorum sensing(QS) is a physiological phenomenon that bacterial regulates some specific gene expression via celldensity-dependent secreted signal molecules.Listeria monocytogenes is one of the major food-borne pathogens,which is an important cause of food contamination.To date,the mechanism of QS in L.monocytogenes is still unclear.AgrD-based QS was mainly involved in biofilm formation and regulation of virulence factor expression,while the study of AI-2-based QS is the tip of the iceberg,which also plays a role in biofilm formation.In this review,we mainly discuss how to regulate the expression of virulence factors such as sigmaB,chiA/chiB and inlA,and biofilm formation associated genes by the QS system with the combination of our recent research progress.In addition,the prospect of exploring the quorum quenching-based potential antibacterial drug to eliminate of biofilm-formed L.monocytogenes was also presented.
