含簇高分子的组装与功能

摘要
自组装是创造新物质和产生新功能的重要手段。通过自组装可以将化学性质迥异的无机基元和高分子基元构筑到一起,获得具有协同功能的高分子杂化材料。多金属氧簇是由金属原子和氧原子配位连接而成的单分子簇合物,具有确定的分子结构、多样的化学组成及性质,被认为是一类多功能的无机构筑基元。在本工作中,我们通过非共价作用将多金属氧簇与高分子链段组装到一起,构筑了具有线型、嵌段、星型等不同拓扑结构的含簇高分子(Fig.1)~([1])。这些含簇高分子是基于非共价作用,本质上可看作一类超分子聚合物。它们在溶液中可以自发形成胶束、囊泡等组装体,并可作为超小填料调控嵌段共聚物的相分离形貌~([3]),以及作为界面增容剂改善高分子复合材料中不同组分之间的相容性~([4])。
Self-assembly is an important approach to create new materials and new functions, which can combine inorganic blocks and polymeric blocks together and lead to hybrid polymer materials with synergistic properties. Polyoxometalates(POMs) are molecular metal-oxide clusters with well-defined structures as well as abundant compositions and functions. In this work, we assemble POMs and polymer segments together through noncovalent interactions, fabricating cluster-containing polymers with linear, block-like and star-like structures. These polymers are essentially supramolecular polymers. They can self-assemble into micelles and vesicles in solution, and act as nanofillers and compatiblizers for tailoring the morphologies and properties of polymer nanocomposites.
