Mn,Ni掺杂多孔含氮泡沫碳催化剂用于催化分子氧还原反应

摘要
分子氧还原反应(ORR)在诸如燃料电池和金属-空气电池等能源技术中起决定性作用。Fe,Co,Mn,Ni和Cu等过渡金属在提升碳基非Pt类催化剂的ORR催化性能中扮演着重要角色。在我们工作中,采用高温热解法制备了一种Mn,Ni掺杂多孔含氮泡沫碳催化剂。该催化剂具有高的比表面积,有利于电极材料与电解质间的离子传输与电子转移。将其用于电催化氧还原反应,发现该催化剂具有高的催化性能,并且具有比商业Pt/C催化剂更高的抗甲醇干扰特性。
Oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) is a decisive reaction in many energy technologies, such as fuel cells and metal-air batteries. Transition metals(Fe,Co,Mn,Ni,Cu) play key role in improving catalytic activity of carbon-based catalysts for ORR. In this work, Mn, Ni elements were introduced into N-doped porous carbon foams by a pyrolysis route at high temperature. The resulted composite catalyst exhibited a high special surface area, which benefits the ion transport and electron transfer between the electrode material and electrolyte. This catalyst showed enhanced catalytic performance for ORR and much better methanol tolerance than commercial Pt/C.
