WR链路不对称系数测量

摘要
White Rabbit网络是基于千兆光纤以太网的同步网络,能够实现网络全局亚纳秒级的同步精度。WR链路采用的光纤收发模块接收和发送信号的波长分别为1550nm和1310nm,光纤的色散会导致光纤对不同波长的光的折射率不同,进而导致光的传播速度不同,从而使得光纤上的收发延时不相等。本文用实验的手段测量得到收发延时之间的比例系数。
White Rabbit Network is a synchronous network based on optical gigabit Ethernet, which can provides an accurate clock synchronization below 1ns. WR uses different wavelengths for transmitting and receiving the data(1550/1310nm), which leading to different delays because of chromatic dispersion of the fiber. The paper describes an experiment method to measure the fiber asymmetry between transmit and receive delays.
