大学生叙事特点及其与自我同一性发展的关系

研究发现自我同一性(self-identity)的形成与叙事存在着密切的联系。以往的研究主要根据Marcia的自我同一性状态从静态角度研究自我同一性。Mc Adams(1996)提出了自我同一性的叙事研究视角——叙事同一性。研究发现发现大多数人通过建构、整合生活故事,为自我提供整合性和目的性,这为从动态的、过程的角度来考察自我同一性的形成机制提供了有效的途径。大学生群体正处于叙事特点和自我同一性发展的关键期。中国大学生的叙事特点具有鲜明的文化烙印。本文以Mc Adams(1993)的交谈框架为蓝本编制访谈提纲,辅助以自我同一性地位问卷(张日昇,2000),共招募在校大学生68人,59人计入最后统计(17-27岁)。本研究目的是考察(1)我国大学生叙事特点(叙事主题——成就、自主、人际、死亡事件;叙事内容——意义建构水平)(2)从意义建构的角度,对大学生同一性动态发展特点和机制进行进一步研究。研究结果1:我国大学生叙事特点为(1)叙事主题上:人际事件和成就事件是大学生叙事的主要事件类型。自主事件和死亡事件是大学生叙事的次要事件类型。(2)意义建构上:不同性别的大学生意义建构水平存在显著差异,女生的意义建构水平高于男生,女生在高峰体验和转折点时期的叙事意义建构水平高于男生。女生的成就事件意义建构分数显著高于男生。研究结果2:自我同一性状态和自我同一性叙事研究结果较为一致。叙事同一性是检验自我同一性的有效方法。
Study found that there is a close connection between self-identity states and narrative identity. Previous studies mainly according to Marcia's self identity status however, Mc Adams(1996) proposed the narrative identity. Study found that most people construct life stories to provide integrated and purpose to themselves. The fact that individuals construction and reconstruction of self and personality in the process of life story narrative. Through narrative process, individuals can improve themselves, to promote the positive development of self and personality, but once the narrative can also lead to improper individual deep negative thought, hinders the development of self. Narrative is the perspective of dynamic. It provides an efficient way to examine the formation mechanism of self-identity. In fact college students have unique narrative characteristics. They are experiencing the critical period of self-identity development. Narrative characteristics of Chinese college students has a distinct culture feature. We took Mc Adams' narrative framework(1993), assisted by the self identity status questionnaire(Zhang, 2000), recruited 68 college students in school, 59(17-27) was included in the final statistics. The purpose of this study is to examine(1) the narrative characteristics of university students in China(including the narrative themes- achievement, relationships,autonomy,mortality events; narrative content- meaning making level)(2) to find out the dynamic mechanism of college students' self identity development from the perspective of meaning construction. Results 1: narrative characteristics of Chinese college students(1) the narrative theme: relationships and achievements events is the major type of narrative event.Autonomy event and mortality events is the secondary type.(2) the significance on the construction: significant difference exists among the college students of different gender meaning making level, girls' meaning making sore is higher than boys.And girls' meaning making sore is higher than boys, in the period of the peak experience and turning point narrative. Results 2: self identity status and narrative identity research results are consistent. Narrative identity is the effective method for testing self-identity.
