通过实验手段确定分子磁体的磁各向异性轴是理解磁各向异性的重要手段,而角分辨单晶磁测量技术则可以为此类研究提供方便的实验支持。这种方法通过测定一颗单晶在三个垂直方向上的磁矩随角度的变化,最终确定单晶的磁化率张量信息。本文将介绍这一技术的具体方法。我们确定了含有Tb~(3+),Dy~(3+)和Tm~(3+)的单离子磁体的磁易轴指向,结果显示磁易轴的方向与稀土离子周围负电荷的分布直接相关。
The experimental determination of the molecular magnetic principal axes is of fundamental importance in understanding the magnetic anisotropy.The angular-resolved magnetometry method has recently been generally applied for this purpose.This method measures the magnetization as a function of the rotation angle with respect to three orthogonal axes to determine the crystal magnetic susceptibility tensor.The detailed introduction of this method is discussed herein.We have determined the magnetic principal axes of various lanthanide ions,revealing that the easy-axis orientation is closely related to the distribution of the negative charges around the lanthanide ions
