基于波导模式转换Q波段径向功率合成器设计

摘要
近些年,基于径向功率合成器研发的毫米波功率放大器受到了越来越多的关注。径向功率合成器具有高合成效率的优点。本文利用HFSS软件对Q波段的径向功率合成/分配器进行仿真,仿真结果表明:该结构在43.5GHz~45.5GHz的频宽范围内插入损耗小于0.3d B。根据仿真结构,加工并制作了该款径向功率合成/分配器。测试结果表明该合成/分配器插入损耗小于0.5d B,合成效率在89%以上,该款径向功率合成/分配器在毫米波功率合成领域具有广阔的应用前景。
Increasing attention have been paid to millimeter wave power amplifier based on radial power combiner recently because of its high efficiency of power combining. An Q-band twenty four-way spatial power combiner based on the radial waveguide is designed and simulated through the High Frequency Structure Simulator( HFSS). The simulating results indicate that the insertion loss is less than 0.3d B.According to the simulation result, a power combiner/divider has be made. The insertion loss is less than 0.5d B and the combining efficiency is above 89% within the bandwidth of 43.5GHz to 45.5GHz. This power combiner can be widely used in the millimeter wave power combiner field.
