高阻抗表面对Vlasov辐射器的辐射性能优化研究

摘要
Vlasov辐射器是准光模式变换系统中常用的辐射器形式,存在波束能量不够集中的缺点,表现为增益较低、主瓣宽度较宽,限制了模变系统能量转换效率的提高。针对此问题,提出利用高阻抗表面光子晶体的禁带特性优化Vlasov辐射器的方法,使辐射方向图主瓣增益提高1.6d B,半功率波束角从146°减小到62°,能量集中程度得到显著提升。除了辐射性能上的提升,该方法的优势还在于:对辐射器原始结构几乎没有改变,不影响系统集成,实现方法简单,加工成本低,具有较大的研究价值和应用前景。
Vlasov launchers are widely-used launchers in quasi-optical mode converter systems. It has shortcoming of large scattering, resulting in low gain and wide main beam. So the energy efficiency of the converter systems is limited. For this issue, an optimizing method is proposed for the Vlasov launcher by taking advantage of band-gap of a high-impedance surface photonic crystal. It is investigated to be able to increase the main beam gain of a launcher by 1.6d B, and reduce the half-power beam angle from 146°to 62°, which demonstrates a great focusing enhancement for the radiation. Besides the performance-improving effect, the method does not change the original shape of the launcher, so it has very little impact on system integrations. It can be realized very easily with low cost. These advantages make it with high values of research and applications.
