自尊、控制信念与数学焦虑的关系:性别的调节作用

数学焦虑是一种特殊的学科焦虑,是指个体在从事与数学相关的活动时产生紧张、焦虑等消极情绪反应。一直以来,数学焦虑的性别差异都是这一领域的研究热点。目前有研究指出数学焦虑的性别差异可能是由于男女在数学学习中经历的不可控感,由于女性所经历的不可控感比男性强烈,所以引发了更多的担忧、焦虑等负面情绪。本研究预探讨不同性别个体在不同控制信念水平和不同自尊水平上的数学焦虑状况。研究采用问卷调查法,对重庆市某两所中学共755名中学生进行调查,男生300名,女生455名。初一年级143名,初二年级162名,高一年级195名,高二年级255名,男生300名,女生455名。采用SPSS16.0对性别在自尊以及控制信念和数学焦虑关系中的调节作用分别进行了检验,并做了进一步的简单效应分析。研究结果发现:1.性别在控制信念和数学焦虑的关系中起着调节作用,随着控制信念水平的升高,男性的数学焦虑显著下降,而女性的数学焦虑水平没有发现显著变化。2.性别在自尊和数学焦虑的关系中起着调节作用,随着自尊水平的升高,男生和女生的数学焦虑均呈现显著下降,但是男生受自尊水平的影响更大。由此可见,控制信念对男生的数学焦虑水平存在影响,对女生不存在影响;自尊对于男生和女生的数学焦虑水平都存在影响。
Mathematics anxiety is a special kind of discipline anxiety, it refers to the individual to produce stress, anxiety and other negative emotional responses engaged in activities associated with mathematics. All along, the gender differences in math anxiety are the research focus in this area. Research have shown that gender differences in math anxiety may be due to men and women in mathematics learning experience uncontrollable sense, since the uncontrollable sense of women than men experienced intense, it led to more concern, anxiety and other negative emotions. This study pre-investigate different genders at different individual levels of control beliefs and self-esteem levels of math anxiety different situation. Study used questionnaires, a total of 755 high school students from two middle school of Chongqing city was investigated,including 300 boys,455 girls.There have 143 studens in Year 7,162 students in Year 8,195 stedents in Year 10,255 students in Year 11.Regulation of the gender in self-esteem, and control beliefs and math anxiety relations were tested for, and made a further analysis of simple effects using SPSS16.0.The results found:1. Gender plays a regulatory role in controlling the relationship between faith and math anxiety, along with elevated levels of control beliefs, math anxiety decreased significantly in men, while the level of female math anxiety was not found to be significantly changed.2.Gender plays a regulatory role in the relationship between self-esteem and anxiety in mathematics, with increasing levels of self-esteem, math anxiety boys and girls showed a significant decline, but a greater level of self-esteem affect boys by. Thus, belief in the existence of control affects the level of math anxiety boys, there is no impact on girls; esteem for boys and girls in mathematics anxiety levels are present affected.
