具有自修复超疏水功能的膨胀型阻燃棉布

摘要
棉布具有广泛的应用范围,其表面的功能化修饰具有很重要的意义。我们通过连续的溶液浸泡法,在棉纤维表面制备了兼具自修复超疏水性及阻燃性的多功能涂层,所用材料依次为支化聚乙烯基亚胺(bPEI),聚磷酸铵(APP)和全氟辛基八倍半硅氧烷(F-POSS)。沉积有F-POSS/APP/bPEI涂层的棉布直接暴露在火焰上时,由于涂层的自膨胀能力而产生发泡的碳层,隔绝氧气和热与棉纤维的接触,阻止火焰的蔓延。此外,当超疏水性能受损后,包埋在膜内部的F-POSS分子可以在湿气驱动下迁移到涂层表面,修复受损的超疏水性,延长超疏水功能的使用寿命。自修复超疏水功能和阻燃功能的一体化可以有效地解决防火涂层遇水不稳定的难题,同时,多功能涂层还具有良好的摩擦耐受性,这些都使这种多功能棉布具有更高的应用价值和更广阔的应用前景。
Flame-retardant and self-healing superhydrophobic coatings are fabricated on cotton fabric by a solution-dipping method, which involves the sequential deposition of a trilayer of branched poly(ethylenimine)(bPEI), ammonium polyphosphate(APP), and fluorinated-decyl polyhedral oligomericsilsesquioxane(F-POSS). When directly exposed to flame, this trilayer coating generates a porous char layer because of its intumescent effect, successfully giving the coated fabric a self-extinguishing property. The humidity-driven migration of F-POSS enables multiple healing of the damaged superhydropobicity of the fabric, which significantly prolongs the lifespan of superhydrophobicity. The integration of self-healing superhydrophobicity with flame retardancy provides a practical way to resolve the problem of washing durability of the flame-retardant coatings. The flame-retardant and self-healing superhydrophobicity of the coated fabric also show excellent durability against repeated rubbing. Thus, this fabric shows potential application as a multifunctional advanced textile.
