友谊对大学生主观幸福感的影响——友谊趋近-回避目标和自尊的作用

目的:理论和实证研究都证明了友谊和个人的幸福有关,但是关于友谊对大学生主观幸福感影响机制的研究却较少。友谊趋近-回避目标和自尊是友谊和主观幸福感关系中比较重要的影响因素,值得深入探究。虽然友谊趋近-回避目标在2006年已经被提出,但是很多关于这个方面的研究都是在西方社会完成的,中文文献极少提及,所以需要更多地进行关于这个概念的本土化研究。而对于自尊,很多研究者都是采用SES量表,即认为自尊只有一个维度,忽略了将自我能力和自我悦纳分开进行探究。在分析方法方面,很多研究采用简单的相关法和回归分析来探究变量的关系,而在本研究中则使用结构方程模型进行分析,使得友谊对主观幸福感的影响机制更加明确。此研究不仅能为如何提高大学生的主观幸福感提供实证依据,还能为友谊是如何对个人幸福产生影响的问题提供理论基础。方法:本研究通过自我报告量表,让369名大学生被试完成了友谊趋近-回避目标、青少年友谊质量、二维自尊、生活满意度和积极情感消极情感量表,并采用结构方程模型分析对这几个变量的关系进行研究。结果:友谊趋近目标对友谊质量有正向影响,友谊回避目标对友谊质量有负向影响,友谊质量对自我能力和自我悦纳均有正向影响,友谊冲突对自我悦纳的负向影响边缘显著,而且自我悦纳对主观幸福感也有正向影响。同时,自我悦纳在友谊质量和主观幸福感之间起到完全中介作用,而友谊冲突通过自我悦纳对主观幸福感的间接负效应也边缘显著。结论:本研究建立了友谊对大学生主观幸福感影响模型,更全面深入地了解友谊是如何影响大学生主观幸福感的。多使用友谊趋近目标以及减少使用友谊回避目标能够增加与最好朋友的友谊质量,提高友谊质量和减少友谊冲突能提高个人的自我悦纳,从而增强主观幸福感。
Purpose: Both theoretical and empirical studies indicate that friendship is related to subjective well-being. But limited work has been conducted to study the influence of friendship on undergraduates' subjective well-being. Friendship approach-avoidance goal and self-esteem are important factors in the relationship between friendship and subjective well-being, so they worth further study. Although friendship approach-avoidance goal has been proposed in year 2006, many studies have been conducted under the background of western culture and it is rarely mentioned in Chinese literature. So we need more indigenous studies. Speaking of self-esteem, many researchers use SES which treats self-esteem as an unidimensional structure. But the separation measurement of self-liking and self-competence are neglected in this method. In the respect of analysis, many studies used simple method such as correlation and regression to analyze the relationship of variables. But in this study, we use structural equation model to analyze variables and it makes influencing mechanism of friendship on subjective well-being clearer. It can not only provide empirical basis on how to enhance undergraduates' subjective well-being but also can provide theoretical basis about the influence of friendship on subjective well-being. Method: Three hundred and sixty-nine participants completed measures of friendship approach-avoidance goal, adolescent friendship quality, two-dimension self-esteem, life satisfaction, positive emotions and negative emotions. And structural equation model was used to test the corresponding hypothesizes. Results: Friendship approach goal has a positive effect on friendship quality, whereas friendship avoidance goal has a negative effect on it. Friendship quality is positively associated with self-competence and self-liking, whereas friendship conflict has marginally significantly negative effect on self-liking. Moreover, self-liking has a positive effect on subjective well-being. Self-liking emerged as a significant mediator in the relationship between friendship quality and subjective well-being. And the indirect negative effect of friendship conflict which through self-liking on subjective well-being is marginally significant. Conclusions: According to the established model, we can better understand how friendship influences undergraduates' subjective well-being. More friendship approach goals and fewer friendship avoidance goals can increase the best friendship quality. Moreover, increasing friendship quality and reducing friendship conflict will enhance personal self-liking, thus to improve subjective well-being.
