季铵盐化聚合物刷接枝的石墨烯改性的聚醚砜基复合碱性阴离子交换膜的构筑

摘要
利用可逆加成-断裂链转移活性自由基聚合成功合成了季铵盐化聚合物刷功能化的石墨烯(QPbGs),并通过向季铵盐化聚醚砜基质中掺杂不同含量QPbGs可以得到分散性良好、热稳定性高、抗氧化性和机械性质较好的新型复合碱性阴离子交换膜。当QPbGs含量低于1wt%时,复合膜的离子簇浓度随QPbGs含量的提高而增大,表明聚合物刷上的季铵盐基团能够提供更多的离子传输通道。复合膜的性质如离子交换容量、吸水率、溶胀率、离子电导率、甲醇渗透性以及碱性稳定性都随QPbGs的掺入而提高。研究结果表明适当的向聚合物阴离子膜中引入QPbGs能够有效改善复合膜的性能。
Quaternized polymer brush functionalized graphenes(QPbG s) was synthesized by reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT) polymerization. By incorporating different amounts of QPbG s into quaternized polysulfone(QPSU) matrix, the obtained composite membranes with dispersed QPbG s showed well thermal stability, oxide stability and mechanical properties. The concentration of ionic clusters of composite membranes increased when the QPbG s is below 1 wt %, illustrating that the quaternary ammonium groups in polymer brushes may provide more ionic pathways. The properties including IEC, water uptakes, swelling ratios, conductivity, methanol permeability and alkaline resistance of membranes were all improved with increasing amount of QPbG s fillers. Our study showed that anion exchange membranes(AEMs) with enhanced performance can be achieved by incorporating proper content of QPbG s into QPSU matrix.
