疏水改性硅溶胶的制备及应用

摘要
在60%水浴下用甲基三甲氧基硅烷及甲基乙氧基硅油改性甲醇硅溶胶,然后用丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯置换甲醇得到疏水改性硅溶胶。评价了其在环己烷、甲苯、乙酸乙酯这3种不同极性的有机溶剂中的相容性。研究了加入疏水改性硅溶胶对丙烯酸涂层力学性能的影响。结果表明,当甲基乙氧基硅油用量为2%,甲基三甲氧基硅烷用量为15%时,改性硅溶胶的疏水性最好。改性硅溶胶加入量为10%时所得丙烯酸涂层的力学性能最好,附着力达到3.96 MPa,铅笔硬度为3 H。
A hydrophobic modified silica sol was obtained by modifying methanol silica sol with methyl trimethoxysilane and methylethoxylsilicone in a 60℃ water bath,followed by replacing methanol with propylene glycol methyl ether acetate.Its compatibility in three organic solvents,i.e.cyclohexane,toluene and ethyl acetate,was evaluated.The effect of adding hydrophobic modified silica sol on the mechanical properties of acrylic coating was studied.The results showed that the modified silica sol prepared with methyltrimethoxysilane 15%and methylethoxylsilicone 2%has the best hydrophobicity.The acrylic coating containing 10%hydrophobic modified silica sol has the best mechanical properties with an adhesion strength of 3.96 MPa and a pencil hardness of 3H.
