ADS注入器Ⅱ RFQ腔体研制及测试

摘要
ADS直线加速器注入器II RFQ加速器用来将10 mA的质子束流从能量30 keV提高到2.1 MeV。使用三维电磁场仿真软件CST Microwave Studio对注入器II RFQ腔体进行了射频结构设计及模拟计算,结果显示腔体无载Q值为14 388,损耗功率为83.7 kW。通过80个调谐器对腔体场的调整,场平整度最终好于±0.01。经过锻炼,腔体在发射机输出功率为92.7 kW时达到了65 kV,并且最终成功加速了10 mA的连续束流。对柬流的测量结果显示,束流传输效率为95.3%,输出能量为2.165 MeV,束流能散为1.9%,束流水平和竖直横向发射度图均为0.33πmm·mrad。
As one of the main components of the injector II of China ADS LIN AC project,an RFQ working at 162.5 MHz is used to accelerate proton beams of 15 mA from 30 keV to 2.1 MeV.RF(radio frequency) design of the RFQ cavity was conducted with the electromagnetic simulation software CST Microwave Studio,and design results showed the unloaded Q value was 14 388 and the power loss was 83.7 kW.Low power test of the cavity had been completed,and it showed the field flatness was within +1%.Results of RF conditioning showed the cavity voltage reached 65 kV when the input power was 92.7 kW.CW(continuous wave) beam of 10 mA had been accelerated successfully,and results of beam test showed the transmission efficiency was 95.3%,the output beam energy was 2.16 MeV with energy spread of 1.9%,and the horizontal and vertical emittances were all 0.33πmm·mrad.
