摘要
位于苏格兰的爱丁堡皇家植物园是世界著名的五大植物园之一,始建于17世纪中后期,是英国历史上最早的植物园之一。本文梳理爱丁堡皇家植物园300多年的历史发展变迁,进而从游赏、教育、科研三个方面对植物园进行全面介绍分析。最后针对植物园中岩石园、泥炭园、中国山坡、高山植物园、温室、女王母亲纪念花园等主要景点进行设计解析,旨在挖掘爱丁堡皇家植物园的历史、景观与科研价值,探寻植物园景观建设与发展的有效途径。
The Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh located in The Scottish is one of the famous five botanical garden of the world and one of the earliest botanical garden in British history,was built in the 17 th century later period.This paper is aimed to combing the Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh's development of 300 years' s history,introduce and analysis on the botanical garden from three aspects of touring,education,scientific research.At the last,it parse the Rock Garden,Peat,the Chinese Hill,the alpine botanical garden,greenhouse and the Queen Mother's Memorial Garden,aiming to mining history of Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh,landscape and scientific research value,and to explore the effective way of Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh landscape construction and development
