摘要
The truth of man's suffering is not the nature, but man himself.Ahab wants to find the truth in nature, and devotes himself in the nearly mad pursuit.Only death can end his misery and save his soul. The struggle in Ahab and the tragic ending indicates the anguished struggle of humanity. And Ishmael's survival leaves hope for the future of man.
