摘要
近年来我国研究生教育虽然取得了巨大的成绩,但是和发达国家的研究生教育相比还有不小的差距。为了更好地学习和吸收他人的先进经验,本文详细介绍了美国哥伦比亚大学Irving P.Herman教授在世界顶级学术期刊Nature杂志上发表的一篇题为Following the law的有关美国顶级院校研究生培养的文章,希望该文能对我国的研究生培养工作提供有益借鉴。
In recent years, China's graduate education has made great achievements. Yet, compared with the developed countries, there is still not a small gap. In order to better learn the advanced experience of the graduate education in developed countries, we here introduce an article entitled with "Following the law" published in the top journal Nature about how to better train graduate students in top US universities. This article was written by Professor Irving P. Herman at Columbia University. In this article, the author discussed twenty important rules that graduate students should follow during their stay in the graduate school. We hope this article can shed some new light on the graduate education in China.
