Background: During the process of the lava of E. granulosus parasite in the intermediate host, the complicated signaling pathway of E. granulosus helps the helminth to evade from the immune system of the host. The insulin receptor signaling pathway, which could regulate the development, growth, glucose metabolism and motility of various parasites, is a crucial pathway in the parasite and becomes anti-helminth drug targets.Method: In order to detect the efficacy and immune response of insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor(IGF- 1R) inhibitor PQ401 on the cystic echinococcosis mice, PQ401 was used to treat the cystic echinococcosis mice, and the efficacy and immune response of PQ401 on the cystic echinococcosis mice were detected.Results: The difference of vesicle wet weight in the PQ401 100 mg/kg dose group and model group was significantly(P<0.05); the inhibitory rate of capsules in the PQ401 100 mg/kg, 50 mg/kg dose group, ABZ group were 53.20%, 40.45%, 57.08%, respectively; The weight of thymus were not different significantly between all groups(P>0.05), while the weight of spleen in PQ401 100 mg/kg dose group and ABZ group was significantly(P<0.05); The content of IL-2, INF-γ and TNF-α in the serum of PQ401 100 mg/kg dose group were elevated than model group and control group, while the content of IL-4 and IL-10 in the serum of PQ401 100 mg/kg dose group were reduced.Conclusion: PQ401 could inhibit the activity of the larva and influence the immune response of cystic echinococcosis mice.
