低散射超表面及其在缝隙天线中的应用

摘要
提出了一种基于反射相位随机分布单元的低散射超表面,并将其应用于缝隙天线。在入射波照射下,不同尺寸单元会产生不同反射相位。通过调节单元尺寸,可以使超表面获得随机反射相位分布,扰乱电磁波的波前,使反射能量在空间形成较均匀分布,从而减小后向散射。所提出的超表面应用于缝隙天线中减缩RCS,全波仿真和实验结果表明缝隙天线的RCS在4GHz~7GHz的宽频带范围内得到了显著减缩。特别地,超表面扩大了天线的有效辐射口径,天线的增益提高了2.8d B。
A low scattering metasurface utilizing randomly distributed unit cells is proposed and applied on slot antenna. The different unit size can generate different reflection phase when illuminated by incident wave. By adjusting the unit size carefully, the uniformly distributed reflection phase can be obtained across the metasurface so that the wavefront of the incident electromagnetic wave could be distorted, resulting in an uniform dispersion of the reflection energy and backscatter RCS reduction. As a potential application, the proposed metasurface is employed to reduce the RCS of slot antenna. Both full wave simulation and measurement results indicate that the RCS of the slot antenna is reduced significantly in a broad band from 4GHz to 7GHz. Specially, the measured gain of the antenna is enhanced by 2.8d B since the effective radiation aperture is enlarged.
