Effect of Boron on Animal performance

Boron is ubiquitous in nature,very indispensable for animal if proffer in specific amount.Animals are exposed to boron by water and different feeds.Major sources of boron exposure could be either through geological or via ground water.It has been associated with persuading a variety of benefits in body organ systems:immune,bone,liver,CNS and development.In this review,we outline the effects of boron on the animal body.The growth performance and immune organ like thymus depict better immunity with boron diet.Liver metabolism also reveals good parameters.In case of bone there is better Condition of animals fed boron diet,CNS also well developed.Assuring a boron intake of approximately 1.0mg/d by consuming foods high in boron,like vegetables,nuts,pulses and fruits,,is a healthy dietary referral to improve health.Although boron is very helpful but the amount of boron should be up to certain limit because high level of boron might be show some toxic effects.
