网络表情的阈下情绪启动效应研究

情绪性的信息可以被无意识地知觉到,并在行为水平和生理水平上对知觉者发生影响。个体先行加工具有一定情绪效价的刺激后,会使得后继加工也易于蒙上相应的情绪色彩,这就是情绪的启动效应。情绪启动是研究情绪与认知之间关系的有效方法。前人研究表明人类表情可以比文字更为直接明确快速地诱发所需情绪。而在网络化的今天,人们在日常生活中频繁地使用着各式各样的网络聊天工具,网络表情因其方便性、直观性、生动性深受大众喜爱。鉴于此,本研究旨在探讨网络表情的阈下情绪启动效应,并与情绪词汇的阈下情绪启动效应作对比,探究二者是否存在差异。实验采用2(刺激材料类型:网络表情、词汇)*2(情绪类型:积极、消极)完全组间设计,并用经典的判断偏好实验范式进行研究。实验分为预实验和正式实验两部分。通过预实验分别筛选出最常用的30个积极表情、30个消极表情和6个中性表情(用于练习);同时从《现代汉语双字名词、动词及形容词感情信息评定表》中抽选积极、消极情绪词各30个,以及中性词6个(用于练习)。正式实验中,将选取的64名在校大学生分为四组。每组研究参与者分别进行30次反应。靶刺激则为30张人物背影图片,要求研究参与者判断靶刺激的正负情绪效价。在呈现启动刺激时引入三明治掩蔽方法,即在启动刺激前后呈现同一掩蔽刺激,以减少记忆痕迹,阻断被试对刺激的有意识评价,获得较纯粹的无意识成分。结果发现:1)材料类型主效应显著(F=15.095,p<0.000,η~2=.201)。网络表情和情绪词汇,都能产生阈下情绪启动效应;2)情绪状态主效应显著(F=6.257,p=0.015,η~2=.094)。即积极的材料能够诱发积极的阈下情绪,消极材料则诱发消极的域下情绪;3)二者的交互作用显著(F=11.458,p=0.001,η~2=.160)。在积极情绪状态下,情绪词汇和网络表情的阈下情绪启动效应没有显著差异;在消极情绪状态下,情绪词汇的阈下启动效应显著高于网络表情的阈下启动效应。
Affective information can be perceived unconsciously and it can also infect percipients in both behavior level and physiological level. The former emotion stimulus which individuals processes will initiate some relevant emotion, and this is affective priming effect. Affective priming is an effective method in exploring the relationship between emotion and cognition. The past researches suggest that human expressions can induce emotion more directly than wordage. In this network era, people use different kinds of on-line chat tools. And most of us like using network expressions for their convenience, intuition and vitality. Given this, this article studied subliminal affective priming effect by network expressions. And we also explored the differences of priming effect between the two kinds of materials compared to subliminal affective priming effect by affective words. The experiment employ the design between 2(stimuli materials: network expressions, affective words) * 2( emotional valences: positive, negative), using the Preference Judgment as experimental paradigm and judging emotion valence of the neutral figures. And the experiment is consist of two parts: preliminary experiment and formal experiment. We choose 30 positive network expressions, 30 negative network expressions and 6 neutral network expressions( used for practice) by pre-experiment. At the same time, we choose 30 positive affective words, 30 negative affective words and 6 neutral words( used for practice) from The Assessment form of Modern Chinese Double Word Nouns Verbs and Adjectives Emotional Information. In formal experiment, we selected 64 undergraduates. Students in each grope must take 30 judgments. The 30 neutral figures are taken as target stimuli, and the participants should take judge of the emotion valence of them. Before the priming stimuli, we use sandwich masking procedure, which is a method to acquire unmixed unconscious element. It means that the same masking stimulus is showed before and after the primed stimuli, which can reduce memory trace and cut individuals' conscious judgment of stimuli. Finding that: 1) Main effect of stimuli material is significant(F=15.095, p<0.001, η~2=.201),Both network expressions and affective words can trigger subliminal affective priming effect; 2) Main effect of emotion valence is significant(F=6.257, p=0.015, η~2=.094), namely, positive materials can trigger positive subliminal affective while negative material can trigger relevant subliminal affective; 3) These two factors have significant interactive effects(F=11.458, p=0.001, η~2=.160). In positive emotion statement, there's no significant differences between affective words and network expressions, but in the state of negative emotion, the subliminal affective priming of affective words is significant better than the subliminal affective of network expressions.
