摘要
Cryptosporidium is a human and animal severe diarrhea apicomplexan parasitic protozoa, with worldwide distribution. The protozoa in the normal immune function is acute self limiting infection, but in immunocompromised patients and defect or inhibition, is a chronic persistent infection, which easily lead to diarrhea and even water severe dehydration and endanger life. Cryptosporidiosis seriously affect human and animal health, caused a great threat to human public health, there is no effective drugs can be used to prevent the current. The disease has been identified as one of the 6 largest cause of human diarrhea. The study shows that the effect of virulence related gene of Cryptosporidium and the encoding protein on the host, throughout the infection and the incidence stage. Therefore, to find the parasite host cell adhesion and invasion associated virulence genes and the encoding protein, Further to study its function has important significance on the prevention and treatment of cryptosporidiosis drugs and vaccines development. It has been speculated that more than 25 kinds of virulence factors are related to the invasion and adhesion of the Cryptosporidium, so the identification of the function of these virulence related factors is essential for the development of vaccines or effective prevention and treatment of drugs. This paper reviews the Cryptosporidium virulence gene and its encoding protein used to cryptosporidiosis provide new ideas and tools of prevention and vaccine development.
