纤维增强热固性复合材料的压缩性能

摘要
目前,纤维编织物和缝合织物的预浸料已经商业化。研究了在垂直纤维平面方向施加压应力时,编织物和缝合织物的变形及尺寸、缝合、温度、粘度及编织形式的变化对压缩性能的影响。从试验可以得出两个特点明显影响压缩性能和部件的制备,第一,低粘度树脂通过纤维时的渗透性能;第二,载荷撤消后的明显弹性回复,在某些情况下,弹性回复可达到初始压缩强度的50%。在许多生产工艺中,材料承受不同程度的压应力,纤维毡的弹性模量很大,是固化后变形和残余应力的根源。
Thermoset fabric prepregs are available commercially in a number of weaves and are occasionally stitched.A study has been made of the deformation of these materials subjected to compressive forces normal to the plane the fabric.The effects of change of scale,stitching,temperature,viscosity and weave have been investigated.From the experiments two significant features that may influence the processing and manufacture of parts formed from these materials were observed.The first was the percolation of the low viscosity resin through the fibres and the second was the substantial elastic recovery on removal of the load.In some cases this recovery was as much as fifty percent of the initial compression.In many manufacturing processes,the material undergoes various degrees of compression and the large elastic modulus observed in some of these mats is a potential source of distortion and of residual stresses after curing.
