摘要
本文从英语词汇的构成特征入手,举证探讨了英语本族词汇的地位、外来词的特点、外来词的时代特征、词汇的混杂性、直接借用以及来自互联网、短信、微信的缩写等,对英语词汇的未来发展趋势做出了一些预测。
Starting from the feature of English vocabulary, the present paper has cited and discussed the status of native words, the characteristics and times of foreign words, lexical miscellaneity, direct borrowing, abbreviation or acronym from Internet, message, We Chat, etc. with some predictions to the future development trend of English words.
