探索皮肤内多功能蛋白聚糖参与加龄及雌激素引起的皮肤老化的机理

摘要
伴随着年龄增长,各种老化特征相继而来。尤其是女性绝经后衰老表现尤为明显,皮肤由于失去弹性而变薄,导致皮肤下垂,皱纹变得醒目。而是否显老,还与代表性雌性激素17-β雌二醇密切相关,众所周知,17-β雌二醇随着年龄增长不断减少,绝经后体内含有水平更是急剧下降。"多功能蛋白聚糖"能够促进细胞分裂,在创伤修复以及胎儿皮肤形成时期表达量明显亢进。由此,本研究着眼于皮肤再生所必需的人体成分"多功能蛋白聚糖",探究了其通过17-β雌二醇的控制,从而对皮肤老化产生影响的可能性。为化妆品功能性成分研发构筑了理论依据。
Women feel several aging symptoms with aging,especially the symptoms become more remarkable after menopause,and the skin become thinner with decreasing the skin elasticity,resulting in the appearances of wrinkles and sagging.17-β-estradiol is one of the principle sex-hormones decreasing with age,and the secretion is also affected by menopause.The difference between actual and apparent ages is known to be strongly affected by the serum level of 17-β-estradiol.This study elucidated the mechanism of skin alteration in aged and perimenopausal women and found a key strategy allowing cosmetic chemists to find potent anti-aging ingredients with focusing on versican as a target for a skin-rejuvenation strategy.Versican is known to accelerate cell motility and proliferation and up-regulated during wound healing and fatal period,suggesting that versican is involved in the systematic skin regeneration.The finding suggests that versican might act as a potent player in skin rejuvenation not only for postmenopausal woman but also premenopausal woman.
