Phenylboronic Acid Functional Group Modified Electrospun Nanofibrous Affinity Membrane: Membrane Preparation and Performance Evaluation

摘要
In this study, the electrospun nanofibrous membranes were fabricated, the surface of which were modified by plasma treatment and were further grafted with phenylboronic acids as the affinity functional groups.The nanofibrous membranes were characterized by FT-IR, water contact-angle, XPS and EDS, respectively, which confirmed the effective introduction of phenylboronic acid functional groups onto the surface of the membranes. The nanofibrous membranes were of high hydrophilicity and stable physic-chemical properties, and were applied to selectively capture and enrich of cis-diol compounds. Adsorption tests by the dye(Alizarin Red S, ARS) and nucleosides showed that the affinity membranes had the properties for selective adsorption and de-adsorption of cis-diol compounds in aqueous solution.
