基于双氧水辅助下的快充高容量氧化钨电致变色电池

最近,利用具有电致变色和储能功能的材料组装而成的交互性智能器件,引起了人们的广泛关注。但是,在这个新领域还有许多技术难题有待解决,比如,电池容量低、自充电耗时长等问题。针对这些问题,我们提出了一种新型的电池体系:双氧水辅助下的氧化钨电致变色电池,其容量相比同类电池高出6倍多;最值得一提的是,充电时间也大大的缩短,仅需8秒钟就能完成充电。
A recent technological trend in the field of electrochemical energy storage is the integration of energy storage and electrochromism function in one smart device. The newly born energy storage technology has drawn tremendous attention; however, there is still plenty of room for technological and material innovations for further progress in the direction. Here, we report a H_2O_2-assisted Al-tungsten oxide electrochromic battery with interactive color-changing properties.The battery exhibits a high specific capacity up to 429 mAhg~(-1), which is much larger than that for the reported electrochromic batteries. The addition of trace H_2O_2 was found to enable fast decoloration of the reduced tungsten oxide, thus affording very quick charging time of only 8 seconds.
