Introduction:RIG-I like receptors(RLRs) are pattern-recognition receptors(PRRs) and are cytosolic RNA helicases.RLR can recognize non-self RNA via the binding of its RNA ligand to the pathogen associated molecular pattern(PAMP) on viral RNA.It is known that RIG-I is absent in the chicken genome,but is present in the genome of ducks.Shao et al.found that duck RIG-I can elicit antiviral responses to avian influenza virus and infectious bursa disease virus,and that the antiviral activity of RIG-
