思科统一无线网络与智慧校园系统设计

摘要
随着经济社会的发展和技术的进步,教育资源日渐丰富,人们对教育品质的要求也越来越高。特别是在美日等发达国家,无线网络已经发展成为其教育部门或院校的重要基础设施,对于改善他们的教学环境、提高资源利用率和增加教育灵活性,发挥了不可替代的重要作用。我国的无线校园网络建设比国外起步较晚,目前多数高校尚未实现无线网络校园覆盖,发展空间巨大。
     在整个校园范围内实现无线网络全覆盖不同于家用无线网络的部署。家用WLAN往往使用一个AP即能满足覆盖需求,无需考虑运营和管理,采用集控制和流量转发功能于一体的自主式AP即可。而校园WLAN覆盖范围较大,因而需要AP的数量更多,用户数量和密度也更大,因此必须有统一的管理控制机制和漫游策略。思科公司推出的统一无线网络解决方案,采用集中化的网络架构,简化了网络部署、运行和管理,能够满足高校的无线需求。作为完整的解决方案,思科统一无线网络除了提供基本的网络接入服务外,还提供环境感知和无线防入侵等增值服务,非常切合无线校园建设的需要。
     本文就思科统一无线网络及其在智慧校园开发上的应用展开研究,主要工作包括:
     (1)对思科统一无线网络进行了系统性地介绍。
     首先介绍了传统的无线局域网络架构,然后以此为对照,介绍了思科集中化无线网络总体架构,以及思科统一无线网络如何使用LWAPP协议实现灵活方便的集中控制机制和漫游策略。随后对思科统一无线网络的产品构成进行了简单的介绍。
     (2)举例介绍了如何在实际环境中搭建一个思科统一无线网络WLAN。
     立足于实验室目前拥有的硬件资源,介绍了实验室所用的无线局域网的搭建过程,包括路由器、交换机、无线控制器、移动服务引擎、无线控制系统等设备的配置。
     (3)提出了“基于GIS信息管理的智慧校园系统”的设计方案。
     首先探讨了智慧校园的理念,然后分类归纳了学校教育、科研、管理以及师生员工生活学习的需求,提出了“基于GIS信息管理的智慧校园系统”的设计方案。该设计方案以思科统一无线网络为主体,融合了无线传感网络、视频监控、地理信息系统等新兴技术。本文对该设计方案的总体架构、数据流和应用框架进行了简要介绍。
     (4)对思科环境感知移动服务进行开发,将其对无线客户端的定位结果集成到了自主设计的校园GIS系统中,完成了智慧校园的初步开发。
In modern world,wireless systems are developping into important parts of education system in many countries.Wireless campuses help a lot to improve teaching quality and improve the utility of resources.But China has fell behind other countries in this field.Since most campuses in China hasn't deployed wireless network, there is a great potential to progress.
     Deploying wireless network in a campus is different from that at home.In most casesjust one independent AP can cover whole home,regardless of administrition.By contrast,to deploy wireless campus network,more APs are needed,more users are generated.As a result, mechanism of unified administrition and flexible roaming is necessary.CUWN(Cisco Unified Wireless Network)is a good wireless solution for campus applications.CUWN can simpify the process of nework deployment,running and administrition.In addition to providing basic network access service, CUWN can also provide value-added service such as WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Prevetion Service)and CAS (Context-Aware Service).
     The article focuses on CUWN solution and discusses its potental to be applied in smart campus design.Main contents of the article include:
     (1)Illastrate CUWN systematically. We illastrate the overall architecture of CUWN and how to realize the mechanism of unified administrition and flexible roaming.
     (2)Make an example about how to create a CUWN WLAN. Based on the hardware resources of the laboratory,we illatstrate the process of creating a CUWN WLAN.
     (3)Put forward the design scheme of Smart Campus System Base On GIS(Geographic Information System) Information Administrition. In the beginning,we discuss the concept of smart campus.Then we put forward our own Smart Campus design scheme,which chooses CUWN as the main body frame and combine servral kinds of promising technology such as wireless sensor network,remote video monitoring and geographic information system.In the following,the overall architecture,data flow and application framework of the scheme are illastrated.
     (4)Develop CAS With the open API supplied by Cisco Corporation,I integrate the locating results of wireless clients into campus GIS system successfully,which is the first step of creating a smart campus system.
