基于IP网的多媒体技术的研究与应用

摘要
Internet的诞生和快速发展给人类的生活方式和工作方式带来巨大的变化,也令沟通与信息传递方式呈现出前所未有的便利和快捷。在第一代互联网时代,由于受到技术水平的限制,人们在网上交流的信息大多是文字等一些要求简单的数据,视音频等多媒体方面的信息则相当有限。进入90年代以来,随着多媒体技术与网络技术的飞速发展以及相互融合,图像、视频等大数据量的多媒体内容在网络上传播需求日益增长。近几年,多媒体压缩编码技术的发展以及支持多媒体通信的一些新协议如RSVP、RTP/RTCP、RTSP、MMS等的出现,IP网络承载多媒体业务方面的能力已经有相当大的进展。
    在这样一个大背景下,如何更高效的管理、检索和保护多媒体资源问题,变得越来越重要。《北京市某区风貌影像查询与管理系统(网络版)》提供了一个包括多媒体内容制作、内容管理、内容检索、内容发布以及版权保护的统一的网络多媒体应用服务的一体化解决方案。由于论文篇幅有限,本论文只阐述和讨论分析与设计中所涉及几项关键技术:多媒体内容制作所采用的图像压缩标准MPEG-4;多媒体内容检索所采用的查询优化方案;多媒体内容发布所采用的保障IP网络上多媒体业务服务质量方案;视频文件的处理所采用的最新的、也是目前最能适应当前IP网络及多媒体应用现状的流媒体技术;另外,在查询方式上创造性的提出及实现了地图查询以及准基于影像内容的查询。在论文中还探讨了本系统同其它系统接口的设计方案。
    本论文注意理论联系实际,从对现有技术的理论分析、比较和总结入手,联系项目的实际需要,选用了先进的、高效的、合理的技术。如:怎样对要传输的多媒体信息更好地进行压缩编码,使之更易于进行传送;如何提高IP网络多媒体业务的服务质量等。并尽量增加系统全方位功能,满足用户多方面的需求,注意提高系统的可扩展性及融合性。
The emergence and fast development of the Internet greatly change the life style of humane beings and the way humane beings work and make the communication and transmission of information take on the unprecedented convenience and promptitude. In the first Internet age, most of the information people communicate in the Internet is some simple data such as written word, and the information of the multimedia is very limited. In the 1990s, with the fast development and fusion of the multimedia technology and Internet technology, there is an increase in the requirement by which the Internet can transmit the content of multimedia with a huge data such as image and video and so on. The capability of IP network to carry multimedia has a great progress with development of multimedia compression coding technology and the emergence of some new protocols supporting multimedia communication such as RSVP. RTP/RTCP. RTSP.MMS.
    In such great environment, it becomes more and more important how to manage, retrieve and protect multimedia resources efficiently. < scene image inquiry and management system of some district of Beijing(network version )> provides a uniform solution including manufacture, management, research and distribution of the multimedia content as well as uniform network multimedia application of copyright protection. This paper just describes and discusses several key technologies when analyze and design : Image compression standard MPEG-4 in multimedia facture; inquiry optimizing scheme in multimedia searches; service quality scheme in multimedia promulgation; the new technology in video file management that is fitful for current IP Internet and current situation in multimedia application; The design scheme of the interface between this system and other E-governor is also discussed in this paper.
    The thesis emphasizes relating the theory with practice, analyzing, comparing and outlining the present technology and theory, then choosing the advanced, efficient and reasonable skills according to practical requirement of the projects. For example, how to effectively compress and code multimedia information enable it more easier to
    
    be transferred; how to promote the service quality of IP Internet multimedia. We should try to promote the multi-functions of the system to meet the multi-requirement of users and pay attention to promoting the extension and fusion of the system.
