The international film industry competitiveness studies are concerned bydomestic and international academic and industry, even though the comprehensiveand systematic studies are very few. This paper innovational introduced the film valuechain, technology chain and the cultural chain as analysis perspectives, combinedwith the theory of international competitiveness, using both quantitative andqualitative research methods, studied the formation mechanism of the internationalcompetitiveness, the theoretical conceptual model and evaluation system of the filmindustry, analyzed the type of competition and the competitive structure of the globalfilm industry. From the results of domestic evaluation, brought the practicalsuggestions to enhance the international competitiveness of China's film industry.
This thesis can be divided into eight chapters: The first chapter introduces theresearch background and significance; the second chapter sorts out the existinginternational competitiveness and film industry internationally competitive research, reviews relevant research situation, puts forward the direction of this study to explore;chapter3compares the development of the national film industry in differentcountries, analyzes the current competition in the global film industry, the future ofthe global film industry development trend; Chapter4presents a conceptual model ofthe film industry international competitiveness, meanwhile, on the basis of theanalysis of the film value chain, the chain of film technology and film culture chain, builds a model of the formation mechanism based on the value of the film industryinternational competitiveness; Chapter5bases on two factors: competition outcomeand competitive impact, combines with previously formation mechanism to build afilm industry international competitiveness theoretical model with the combination ofpotential competitiveness, basic competitiveness and innovation competitiveness, used AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method to determine the weight, selected40countries as object, draw the final results of the evaluation; Chapter6Identifies core elements of the film industry international competitiveness, evaluation results werestatistically analyzed with competitiveness types analysis and structural analysis;Chapter7analyzes China's film industry international competitiveness evaluationresults, then analyzes the problems of China's film industry in various aspects fromthe point of view of the value chain, proposes three strategic path to enhance theinternational competitiveness of China's film industry and constructs the fivestrategies system and the three policy system; Chapter8reviews the main researchcontent, analyzes the limitations and shortcomings of this study, and looks to thefuture research path.
The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in: First, based on the study ofthe film industry value chain, technology chain and cultural chain, the thesiscreatively formats mechanism model based on the film industry internationalcompetitiveness chain integration perspective, expands and deepens the mechanism ofthe formation of the international competitiveness of the film industryresearch;Secondly, combined with previously formation mechanism, builds atheoretical model of international competitiveness of the film industry by taking fullaccount of the competitive process and outcome, this theoretical model is fully takenaccount of the dual properties of the film industry;Third, it builds the film industryinternational competitiveness evaluation index system, determined the weights byusing AHP to get the results of the evaluation. Compared with previous studies, theevaluation reflects the system characteristics of the international film industrycompetitiveness more comprehensively and objectively, focusing on the futuredevelopment trend of the film industry as a basis; Furthermore, the paper analyzes theevaluation results statistically, using cluster analysis and correlation analysis to get amore in-depth discussion of the type and structure of the competitiveness; Last but notleast, from the results of domestic evaluation, the paper analyzes the weak points ofChina in the international film industry competition, enhances China's film industryinternational competitiveness countermeasures system, the countermeasures systemproposed is closely logically linked with preamble, starting from the analysis ofpractical problems, has a strong relevance and practicality
