多路可控FPGA数字视频监控系统

摘要
在这个科技飞速发展的时代,社会发展的需求使技术一步步向更高层次发展,视频监控给人们带来了安全保障和便利。高性能,多功能的视频监控设备层出不穷,而电子设备数字化应用的深入促使视频监控设备有了新的发展方向。数字视频监控系统具有强大的抗干扰能力,能够进行数字视频处理,可以方便地存储和提取视频记录,因此拥有广泛的应用前景。
     FPGA器件和设计软件不断的更新换代和升级,其性能已不能同日而语,功能也更加丰富。目前基于FPGA的视频监控的研究逐步深入,其中不但包含商用和工业设备,还涉及军事应用方面的研究。
     本文介绍了一套可用于坦克及装甲车上的数字视频侦查、监控系统,它是以Altera FPGA芯片为核心,具有分辨率高和可控视频画面输出等特点。系统充分利用FPGA芯片内部资源,实现对坦克、装甲车周围360度范围内的侦查,而且它能够不断升级FPGA内部的硬件逻辑,实现更多功能。监控系统的FPGA设计采用模块化的设计方法,利用SOPC Builder搭建片上可编程系统。文章主要介绍了数字视频监控的发展与现状,简单说明了多路可控视频监控系统的硬件设计和原理;根据视频监控系统的实际应用,进行了硬件系统的设计和调试,对12路视频的输出和控制作了仔细研究,设计出监控系统的FPGA片上可编程系统,完成了I2C控制器、SDRAM控制器、VGA视频显示等模块的设计,并对SDRAM控制器和VGA显示模块进行了调试,实现了它们各自的功能。
In this era of rapid development of science and technology, social development requirement makes the technology move forward. High-performance, flexibile, multi-functional video surveillance equipments come out one after another. They bring security and convenience to us.The deep-going application of electronic equipment digitization promote the video surveillance develop towards new field. Digital video surveillance system has strong anti-interference ability. We can make digital video processing, and easily store and retrieve video record as well.So the digital video surveillance system has extensive application prospects.
     FPGA devices and design softwares are constantly updating. Their performances are better than before, as they bring us more useful features.The current research on FPGA-based video surveillance is gradually going deep.They are not only used in Industrial and civil surveillance, but also in military applications.
     We give out a kind of digital video survilliance system used in tanks and armored vehicles in this article, which is based on Altera FPGA.The output video of the system can be controlled, and it has high resolution. The design makes full use of resources on the FPGA chip. It makes tanks, armored vehicles have 360 degrees eyesight. The hardware logic on the FPGA which is based on modual design can be upgraded to achieve more functions.The whole sysytem on programmable chip is constructed by SOPC Builder software.The development of digital video surveillance is discussed in the artical as well as the current situation. The hardware design and the theory of the multi-channel video monitoring system is briefly described in this artical.According to the practical application of video survilliance system, we design and debug the hardware system. We also research on the 12 channel video output and control, and then design the SOPC system on FPGA chip.We design the I2C controller, SDRAM controller, VGA display modules, and so on. Then we debug them exceprt for the I2C controller and achieve our goals.
