GSM无线数据传输的研究和应用

摘要
现有GSM(Global System for Mobile Communication)网络已经扩展到全世界的各个角落,成为目前用户数量最大的移动通信系统。而中国是拥有数量最多的GSM移动用户的国家。尽管GSM在数据通信方面与CDMA相比有一定劣势,但作为最大的移动通信系统,尤其在二代半或第三代移动通信系统还没有大规模实际应用的情况下,对GSM网络做进一步研究和挖掘,拓展其作为传输媒介和增值业务的应用,将具有很大的意义。
     本文在讨论各种数据传输方式的基础上,详细介绍了GSM系统组成和结构,分析了基于GSM网络的数据传输方式的原理和一些基本特性,并研究了语音、数据和短消息的传输过程。同时,在此研究的基础上深入探讨了几个方面的拓展应用。主要结合GSM无线解调调制模块,介绍了远程集中抄表系统中基于GSM网络的抄表方式,分析了具有数据传输、短消息传输和语音多种功能的GSM无线传输连接器的设计方案,最后侧重于平台软件方面介绍了具有短消息催费和短消息查询功能的电费管理系统的开发。
Nowadays GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) has expanded to all round the world, and has become the largest mobile radio communication system with the greatest number of users despite the fact that it is actually somewhat inferior to CDMA system in the area of digital communication. Therefore it would be of great significance to further explore and develop the GSM network as a communication medium as well as its increment operations, especially since the 2.5 G and 3G mobile communication system has not yet got large-scale practical application.
    Based on the discussion of various types of data transmission, this paper analyzes the constitution and structure of GSM system, describes principles and features of GSM data transmission, and examines in detail the transmission procedure of voice, data as well as short message. Several extended applications are also discussed on that basis. And a GSM-based Centralized Meter-Reading System is introduced with Siemens wireless modulation-demodulation module. A multi-functional GSM wireless transmission linker is designed and the software development of an ammeter management system with short message requisition function is introduced.
