基于MPLS技术的企业VPN网络研究与设计

摘要
随着Internet的蓬勃发展,人们对应用也提出了更高的需求。由于Internet缺乏有效的流量和网络带宽管理手段,网络经常会发生拥塞。当现有Internet规模扩充到一定限度后,将在许多方面(带宽、路由、网络扩展性、QoS)面临挑战,这对于目前的IP技术来说已是力不从心。
     如何使ATM技术融入IP,如何将路由和交换结合起来,成为目前研究的热点。众多厂商和学者提出了许多新方案,直到多协议标记交换(MPLS)的出现,才使人们看到了一丝曙光。
     多协议标记交换(MPLS)是一项新的宽带网技术,这一技术结合了第二层交换和第三层路由的特点,将第二层链路帧协议和第三层路由转发技术有机地结合起来,有助于解决与当前联网环境中使用的分组转发技术相关的许多问题。MPLS的一个重要应用即是构建MPLS VPN网络。
     本课题对多协议标记交换(MPLS)技术从概念着手,对其系统结构、层次结构、技术规范等方面作了较全面的讨论和研究,并在最后根据企业内部特点,提出了一种基于MPLS的企业内部网络解决方案。
As the Internet booms, users are demanding more of its applications. Network traffic is frequently jammed due to the lack of effective technology to manage network traffic volume and and network bandwidth. When the current Internet expands to certain degree,it will face challenges in many aspects (bandwidth,routing, network scalability, QoS etc) . Current IP technology cannot meet that demand.
     Merging ATM technology with IP and merging routing with switching is a popular research subject.Although many researchers from industry and academia have proposed numerous new methods, yet people still cannot see the light at end of tunnel until MPLS (Multiprotocl Label Switching) is born.
     MPLS is a new technology in the broadband network.This technology combines the switching feature at the second layer and routing feature at the third layer. It is designated to deal with issues of group relay technology and other related problems in network. One of MPLS's applications is to construct MPLS VPN network.
     Based on the concepts of MPLS technology, this project has done full scale research and analysis on the MPLS system architecture, layer architecture and technical standards. This paper proposes a MPLS based solution to enterprise network with the consideration of every instuition's unique requirements.
