基于WinCE的嵌入式无线投影网关设计

摘要
嵌入式就是将微处理器嵌入各种电子设备内部实现设备的智能化。随着信息技术的发展和数字化产品的普及,从消费电器到工业设备,从民用产品到军用器材,嵌入式系统设备已经应用到网络、手持设备终端、国防军事、消费电子和自动化控制等各个领域。嵌入式系统的广泛应用前景和发展潜力使其成为21世纪的应用热点之一。
     本文描述的嵌入式无线投影网关采用AMD Geode GX533处理器和Windows CE系统,该设备通过标准的VGA接口连接到投影机,通过无线局域网接收数据,能够将普通PC或笔记本电脑的桌面在投影机上还原出来。可以让使用者在电脑上方便的进行文档、应用程序和图片的演示而不受视频电缆的束缚。该设备同时可以脱离电脑,独立的读取各种格式的文件如doc、ppt、bmp、mpeg等,具有广泛的应用前景。
     本论文首先介绍了嵌入式系统及无线局域网的原理,然后介绍了无线投影网关系统的总体设计方案,详细分析了Windows CE操作系统结构及原理,对系统中用到的关键技术进行了详细的介绍,包括屏幕拷贝、JPEG压缩算法研究、Windows CE内核的定制方式、Windows CE中Web Server服务、Windows CE中无线网络的配置方式。最后给出了整个无线投影网关的软件系统的测试方法,同时测试了设备的性能。本文论述的系统已经实现并经过实验验证,可作为其他嵌入式应用系统开发的参考。
Embedding is to implant microprocessors inside electronic devices in purpose to make them more automatic, more intelligent. With the development of information technology and the popularity of digital products, from simple electronic devices to industrial equipments, from civilian products to military equipments, Embedded Systems have already been used in many fields such as networking, military defense, automation, wireless communication. The Embedded system topic is one of the hottest issues of 21st century for its development potential and broad prospects in applications.
     This paper describes an embedded wireless projector gateway that uses the AMD Geode GX533 processor and Windows CE as OS. This equipment is connected to the projector using the standard VGA interface and receives data from a wireless LAN interface. In the meantime, it can display a classic PC or notebook’s desktop. This enables users to easily perform documents, applications or picture’s presentation without worrying about cable’s length. The presented equipment can be used as a standalone device. Beside this, it also can read various documents such as doc, PPT and BMP files. Therefore it has a broad application prospect.
     This paper first introduces the principle of embedded system and wireless LAN then describes the whole design of the embedded wireless gateway projector. The Windows CE operating system’s structure and principles are also presented. Details are given on the system used key technologies such as screen copy, JPEG compression algorithm, Windows CE kernel customization, Web Server in Windows CE and wireless Network configuration program. Finally the testing process and test results of the entire system are presented. The system described is this paper has been realized and can be used as a reference in other embedded system developments.
