基于SNMP技术的校园网络管理系统研究与开发

摘要
自从八十年代末期简单网络管理协议SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)面世以来,网络管理技术在短短的十几年里得到了突飞猛进的发展。随着管理功能的增强和管理对象的扩大,网络管理技术正逐渐成为网络构建和维护中必不可少的重要因素。
     中国地质大学(北京)校园网发展的时间并不长,但是对校园网络管理相当重视。随着技术和应用的发展,计算机网络的规模越来越大,用户日益增多,结构也更加复杂。网络管理的目的在于提供一种对计算机网络进行规划、设计、操作运行、经营、监视、分析、控制、评估和扩展等手段。从而以合理的代价组织和利用系统资源,提供安全、可靠、有效和友好的服务。
     本文正是针对目前的这种现状,在分析网络管理的功能和现有网管管理开发工具的基础上,对SNMP管理的实现进行了比较深入的研究和探讨,设计并实现了一个SNMP网络管理软件的开发平台。该系统提供了用户对处于校园网上的网络设备进行失效管理和流量管理的功能。对于网络设备中的MIB进行有效的访问,得到管理员所希望得到的相关数据。并详细介绍了SNMP协议的原理及其编码规则,主要分为:网络管理的基本模型和管理模式、抽象语法表示ASN.1和SNMPv1版本的协议数据单元。
     本系统基于SNMP++软件开发包上进行开发。SNMP++是HP公司提供的开发基于SNMP网管应用程序的应用程序编程接口,最小限度的使用现存的SNMP库并使开发工作更加的高效。
     本文详细介绍了SNMP网络管理框架,深入探讨了开发平台中的一些相关技术。在此基础之上,详细分析了SNMP网络管理软件开发平台的体系结构,全面介绍了系统各模块的功能和实现方法。最后总结全文并对本课题的研究作了技术上的展望。
Network management technology has been developing rapidly since SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) was published at the end of 1980s. It has become an essential element in constructing and maintaining networks along with the enhancement of management functions and expanding of managed objects.
     The network of CUGB do not develop for a long time, but the management of the college network is very important. With the developing of the technology, the size of the network become bigger and bigger, the customer of the network become more and more. The structure of the network is more complexity than ever before. So the purpose of the network management is to offer a kind of method to managing, designing, operating, running, checking, controlling, evaluating and expending the network. Organizing and using the network resources, offering the suitable, safe and effective server to the customers.
     Aiming at this status, the thesis discusses how to implement the SNMP Management, designs and implements an SNMP Management development platform based on analysis of the SNMP Management functions and its development tools in existence. The platform can offer the information of the network equipment which stay at the net to the customers according to effective management and the influence management. Visiting the MIB of the network equipment, getting the useful value for the customers. The principle of the SNMP and the encoding rules will be introduced in the detail. The main chapters are these four parts: the modules of the SNMP, the Abstract Syntax Notation l, PDU (Protocol Data Unit) of the SNMPv1.
     This system is based on the SNMP++ software. The SNMP++ software is belong to the HP company. It offer the interfaces to develop the SNMP application software. It can use the min of the MIB and make the developing easier.
     After the introduction of SNMP management framework and related technology to the platform implementation, the thesis analyzes the architecture of SNMP Management development platform in detail and introduces the functions and implementations of all compositive modules entirely. At last it summarizes the research work and presents some prospects on the project.
