mSwitch5.x核心网—网络管理系统中配置管理的研发

摘要
mSwitch(mobile,multi-media,multi-service SoftSwitch system)是UT斯达康公司研制的新一代软交换系统,是传统PHS(PersonalHandphone System,即“小灵通”)的替代产品,除了提供传统的语音服务外,还能够为“小灵通”手机用户提供多种可扩展的新服务。
     mSwitch OMC-S(mSwitch Operation and Maintenance Center-Switch subsystem)是mSwitch核心网的网络管理系统,本文主要论述的就是该网络管理系统中配置管理部分的研究与开发。
     mSwitch OMC-S的总体构架结合了TMN的设计思想,其主要功能模块包括:拓扑管理、配置管理、故障管理、性能管理、系统管理。其中配置管理主要负责管理mSwitch核心网的各种网元设备,以表格及图形等形式显示配置相关的各类信息,显现网元设备工作状态,并且具有配置数据创建、删除、查询、修改、同步、下载、合法性检查等功能。
     本文基于UT斯达康公司的mSwitch OMC-S的实际研发过程,首先对TMN理论进行了探讨,然后介绍了mSwitch OMC-S的总体框架,之后部分是论文的主要部分,即配置管理部分的研究与开发:首先对配置管理功能及操作流程的进行了具体的分析,然后详细地论述了配置管理的设计与开发过程,之后论述了配置管理中网元版本兼容性的问题以及解决方案,最后论述了域级公共数据配置。
mSwitch(mobile,multi-media,multi-service SoftSwitch system) is the new generation SoftSwitch system of UTStarcom corporation. It is to replace the traditional PHS(Personal Handphone System, the "Little-Smart"), it can provide various extendable new services for "Little-Smart" handphone users, besides the traditional voice services.
     mSwitch OMC-S(mSwitch Operation and Maintenance Center - Switch subsystem) is the Network Management System of mSwitch core network, this paper is mainly to discuss the research and development of the Configuration Management part of this Network Management System.
     The architecture of mSwitch OMC-S absorbed the design idea of TMN, the main function modules include: Topology Management, Configuration Management, Fault Management, Performance Management, System Management. Configuration Management is mainly responsible for the management of various NE(Network Element) of mSwitch core network, show the configuration-related various information by tables and graphs, show the working status of NE, and provide function of configuration data creating, deleting, querying, modifying, synchronizing, downloading and validity checking.
     This paper is based on the actual development process of mSwitch OMC-S of UTStarcom corporation, firstly discussed the TMN theory, then introduced the overall architecture of mSwitch OMC-S, then there comes the main part of this paper, that is the research and development of Configuration Management: firstly analysed the function and operation flow of Configuration Management, then detailedly discussed the design and development process of Configuration Management, then discussed the NE version compatibility issue in Configuration Management and its solutions, at last discussed the domain level common data configuration.
