综合IP网管中探测系统的研究与开发

摘要
随着互联网络的迅猛发展以及人们对网络高服务质量的不断要求,网络性能探测这一领域倍受人们热切关注,并逐步成为了网络管理领域的一个研究重点话题。网络探测技术对于掌握网络流量的分布情况和增长趋势,合理规划和利用网络资源,发现网络性能瓶颈,判断现有网络设施在满足服务质量方面的能力和潜力,网络设施的优化和扩容等方面都具有重要意义。
     “综合IP网管中探测系统”的研究与开发工作是在深入研究网络性能探测的相关技术和问题并结合实际工作的基础上完成的。
     本文首先对当前互联网性能探测的研究和发展作了系统介绍,详细讲述了几种主要的网络探测技术。在借鉴现有互联网性能探测系统体系结构和基本方法的基础上,提出了能够指导大型互联网性能探测的三层模型,包含数据探测、数据管理和分析、数据表示等三个模块,并介绍了基于该模型详细的网络探测方法和体系框架。最后在Windows环境下设计并实现了一个分布式的综合IP网络性能探测系统,同时并给出了探针的详细设计方法和具体的实现过程,包含套接字编程、动态链接库编程及多线程技术。本系统既为网络管理者提供了探测网络性能的手段,又为用户提供了探测网络性能的渠道,为服务提供商和用户之间进行高服务质量需求提供了有力的依据。
With the fast development of Internet and people’s continuous demand for high service quality of networks, the area of network performance measurement has now been paid much attention by people and has become the highlight of the research of network management area. The network measurement technology has great significance for mastering the network flow distribution and rising trend, utilizing the network resource reasonably, finding the network performance bottleneck, estimating capability and potential of present network establishment to satisfy service quality, providing idiographic reference data to optimize and extend network establishment.
     The design and development work of Measrement System in Comprehensive IP Network Management System is completed on the basis of the interrelated technology and problem of network performance measurement and the practical work.
     The dissertation firstly gives an overview of current research work and development of Internet performance measurement, and narrates several primary network measurement technologies in detail. Then it proposes a three-level model which can guide the large-scale Internet performance measurement on the basis of the structure and method of current Internet performance measurement system, including data detection module, data management & analysis module, data show module, and introduces the model’s detailed network measurement method and system structure. Finally the dissertation designs and implements a distributing comprehensive IP network measurement system under the Windows environment, and presents the network probe’s detailed design method and implementation progress, including the sockets programming, dynamic-link library programming and the multithreading technology. The system not only offers ways and means of measuring network performance for network manager and consumer, but also provides powerful evidence for high service quality negotiating between network service provider and consumer.
