摘要
随着新的显示技术的发展,普通阴极射线管显示技术因其体积太大、太重、显示尺寸不容易作大的原因,已经越用越不能够适应现代消费的需要。而液晶、等离子因为屏薄,重量轻,而且很容易作大尺寸,所以已经慢慢成为消费的主流。
     PW328图像处理芯片是Pixelworks?提供的新一代的电视处理芯片。其主要的功能包括了全10位的数字处理,高品质,采用增强的小角度处理技术和运动自适应技术的高清1080i逐行处理,帧频转换,画中画,画外画,高性能的多窗口缩放。此外,芯片还提供了可编程的PixelBoost?技术,先进的针对集成视频解码器的三维降噪,三维梳妆滤波器。PW328使用了Pixelworks?公司最新一代的缩放和DNX?(数字真实体现)画质增强技术。所有这些特点都是为了降低系统成本,缩短产品上市时间。
     PW328图像处理芯片是一个高度集成的解决方案,它集成了高速数模转换、视频解码,具有外部存储接口支持多窗口和高分辨率液晶电视能力。作为新一代的高档电视处理芯片,Pixelworks?提供的PW328具有你希望的丰富功能和良好性能,在全球范围内都具有较佳性的价比。这个解决方案适应了新一代液晶电视对于更卓越的图像质量、更显著功能的要求。
     本论文是采用Pixelworks的PW328芯片,完成一个可以实现两路电视、两路视频、两路分量高清信号、一路VGA、一路HDMI输入的双通道液晶电视产品,同时这个项目的软件系统,通过简单的更改在传统的CRT显示上也同样的适用。
With the development of the display technology, the CRT display technology, for the reason of the kinescope’s huge bulk, bigger weight and hard to be bigger size, is losing the market order. But the LCD for the reason of the panel’s thin, less weight and easy to be a bigger size is being in the ascendant.
     The PW328 ImageProcessor is the latest generation of TV processor provided by Pixelworks~(TM). Features include full 10-bit data processing, high-quality, motion-adaptive deinterlacing up to HDTV 1080i with enhanced low-angle processing, frame-rate conversion, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Picture-off-Picture (POP), high-quality scaling for multi-windows. In addition, the chip offers programmable PixelBoost? technology, advanced 3D noise reduction, and a 3D comb filter to accompany the integrated video decoder. The PW328 provides the latest generation of Pixelworks? advanced scaling and DNX~(TM) (Digital Natural Expression) picture enhancements. These features are designed to reduce system cost and speed time-to-market.
     The PW328 ImageProcessor is a highly integrated solution with an internal ADC and a Video Decoder, with an external memory interface to support more advanced windowing capabilities and high-resolution LCD televisions.      This paper describes a subject based on the PW328 , the latest generation of Pixelworks~(TM). The subject is a dual channel LCD TV product, which sources have two TV, two composite video or S-video, two component video(YpbPr) , one VGA and one HDMI. The software system can use to CRT product when it has a little changed too.
