用信息理论分析《红楼梦》两译本中王熙凤话语翻译的信息传递

摘要
随着现代科学发展的综合化、整体化趋势，信息理论的许多研究成果已被广泛应用于数学、生物学、管理科学、语言学等研究领域，并对翻译的理论和实践研究产生了及其深远的影响。它使翻译研究走出了囿于语言学领域的传统范式。本文正是通过分析通讯领域的主要理论---信息论，在阐述信息论的实质的基础上，运用信息论中的主要理论，如冗余理论，信息负载，对红楼梦两译本的翻译问题进行探讨和研究。本文选用了王熙凤的话语翻译作为分析素材，重点比较分析了两译本中针对她话语翻译中包含的语义信息，文化信息和审美信息的翻译，及这些信息在翻译过程中如何得到正确和完整传递的问题。此外，因为认识到每种语言都有其特点、表达习惯和表达方式，本文还比较研究了两译本在翻译过程中对这些信息的适当传递所采取的手段，进一步探索了如何采取补偿措施以使原文的信息适当地传递给目的语读者的问题。本文通过信息理论分析《红楼梦》两译本中王熙凤话语翻译的信息传递问题，尝试了从新的视角对红楼梦翻译进行研究。
Modern sciences are becoming integrated and more powerful.Information theory, first emerging in the communication field, has been widely applied to in many other fields like math, biology, management science, linguistics, etc. Now it has exerted a profound impact on the theoretical and practical study of translation, enabling translation study to exceed the convention of linguistics. By applying Information theory, and with the help of its main concepts-redundant information and communication load, this thesis attempts to study the different approaches of the two English versions of Hong Lou Meng, of which Wang Xifeng's discourse material is chosen for the translation study. And, the research emphasis is placed on the comparison of the two versions' different approaches in transmitting information in terms of semantics, culture, and aesthetics. Because each country has its own cultural features and ways of thinking and expression, measures during the process of translation have to be adopted so as to transmit the information appropriately and correctly to the target readers. Hence a comparison of how the two translators deal with such problems is made in the thesis in order to analyze how the two transmit three kinds of information mentioned above and how they apply translation strategies to assist their translation.
