综合业务终端视频模块硬件的设计

摘要
随着经济和技术的发展,电信网、广播电视网和计算机通信网将相互渗透,实现“三网合一”并向用户提供综合业务,这将是大势所趋。新型HFC接入网络能克服原来HFC网络漏斗噪声的严重影响,它能够为用户提供包括数字电视、IP电话和数据传输在内的综合业务。综合业务终端就是基于新型HFC接入网向家庭用户提供综合业务的设备,它可以让家庭用户通过一个网络,使用一个设备实现互联网接入、数字电视、IP电话等业务,还可享受视频点播、居家购物、网络游戏、远程教育等丰富的增值业务。本课题的任务就是对综合业务终端音视频模块进行硬件设计。
     论文首先介绍了数字视频的特点及传输方法,接着简要介绍了数字电视涉及的DVB-C传输机制和MPEG-2压缩标准。其中MPEG-2是数字电视采用的信源编解码标准,且MPEG-2传输流是本课题中主要接收的数据格式;中国采用的Europe DVB-C协议则是信道传输编解码规范。
     论文从功能要求、接口要求和性能要求等方面对综合业务终端进行了需求分析,并在此基础上提出了综合业务终端音视频模块的功能要求、性能指标要求、接口方法等。
     论文根据视频模块需求分析及视频数据处理流程提出了综合业务终端视频模块的总体设计方案,其主要包括六个子功能模块:与主控接口模块、音视频解码模块、存储模块、外围接口模块、视频输出模块和电源模块。通过对现有的音视频解码芯片的反复比较,确定了以ST公司的STi5518作为音视频模块MPEG-2解码芯片。
     在详细分析了芯片的技术特性之后,论文设计出了综合业务终端音视频模块的所有电路,包括:音视频解码模块的硬件电路、存储器电路、与主控模块的接口电路、音视频输出电路、电源电路、及可用于连接智能卡读卡器或接存储器卡的通用接口电路。
     家用综合业务终端的开发是一个比较复杂、工作量巨大的工程,由于时间有限,所设计的音视频模块虽然能实现所要求的功能,但有待进一步优化,以适应市场需要。
With the development of economy and technology, it will be the trend of the times that the telecommunications network,CATV network and computer communication network infiltrate each other,and realize the unity of the three nets to offer integrated services for users. New HFC network can overcome the serious impact of the original one which has funnel noise,and it can provide integrated services to users, including digital TV, IP telephone, data transmission. The integrated services terminal (IST) is a device which is based on the new pattern HFC network and offers integrated services for family users, and it provides family users to realize the Internet access, digital TV and IP phone etc, from a network, and the family users also can enjoy the various value-added services for video on-demand, home shopping, internet games and distance education etc.The task of the subject is the hardware design of the A/V model in integrated services terminal.
     The thesis introduces the feature and transmission method of digital video firstly, and then the DVB-C transmission mechanism and MPEG-2 compression standard about digital TV in brief . MPEG-2 is information sources’s decode standard used in digital TV ,and the MPEG-2 transport stream is the main receiving data format in the subject; Europe DVB-C protocol adopted in China is channel transmission decoding standard.
     In this thesis, the requirement of IST is analyzed from the aspects of function, interface and performance request. On the basis of it, functional requirements, performance index requirement and interface method of IST’s A/V model is brought forward.
     According to video model demand analysis and video data processing, program design of IST’video model is presented including six its major functional models: the main control interface model, audio and video decoding model,memory module,external interface module,video output model and power model. By comparing with the existing audio and video decoding chips, STi5518 is selected as the MPEG-2 decoding chip in A/V model .
     After the technical characteristics of the chips are analysised in detail, all the IST’audio and video circuits are designed, including audio and video decoding model hardware circuit,memory circuit,the main control model interface circuit, audio and video output circuit,power circuit and common interface which is used to connect to the smart card reader or memory card.
     The development of appliance Integrated Service Terminal is a more complex and huge workload project. As time is limited, it is be further optimized to meet the needs of the market, since audio and video model designed can realize the required functions.
