虚拟局域网技术在城域网中的应用与实践

摘要
目前,随着信息技术的发展,有线宽带网络凭借其丰富的宽带资源和巨大的发展潜力,倍受关注并逐渐成为实力雄厚的网络服务提供商(ISP)。那么,随着有线电视宽带城域网络技术的日益成熟,利用VLAN技术的诸多优势来实现有线电视宽带城域网络的管理将成为必然的趋势。
     本文从VLAN技术在辽阳有线电视宽带城域网建设中的实际配置的角度出发,对VLAN技术在城域网中的应用与实践作了深入的探讨。文中详尽地阐述了VLAN技术所涉及到的相关概念、基本原理和关键技术,同时在深入地研究了辽阳宽带城域网中所存在的诸多问题的前提下,利用VLAN透传技术、PVLAN技术、VLAN时钟同步技术、三层交换技术解决了城域网中未授权上网等问题,使得城域网的管理和运行更加完善,同时也均衡了网络的负荷、有效降低了网络中的广播信息,提高了宽带网络的安全性和高效性。
Twenty centuries ninety age initial stage, the functions of computer as well as the amount of communication increased greatly, and traditional local area network couldn’t bear the load any more and thus the exchanging network came into being that improved the local area network ability a lot. Adopt to owe the local area network that the technology forms whose centre equipment——switch has been evidently improved. Its every end but of equal rank , safe , simultaneous mutuality transfers information, and make a local area network not bad the altitude expands.
     Then, with the rapid growth of switch technology, the application of VLAN technology has aroused more and more attention. Its market prospect is promising and it has developed into one of the confirming function provided for VLAN resolution with the capability of switching. Maybe VLAN is still mysterious to some people. In fact, the IEEE802.IQ standard about VLAN was implemented by IEEE committee in June, 1996 and Cisco Company mentioned the technology early in 1996. They called it as“Virtual Local Area Network”. It is a new technology that realizes virtual workgroup by dividing the logical address rather than physical address into network segments. Nowadays, VLAN has become the most popular technology and has been widely used in major enterprise networks, campus networks and intelligence communities. The reasons of the wide use of VLAN technology are: 1) VLAN technology provides the flexible combination mechanism of network segments and structures. The stations of the network are not restricted in the physical address and they can be applied to the logical sub-network according to the requirements. In this way, the network users are classified and under control. 2) VLAN technology has solved the problems, such as the increasing, deletion and removal of the stations which makes it convenient to maintain and manage the network. 3) VLAN’s fire wall function can satisfy the restrict safety requirement which may take place of many functions provided by routers in this field.
     21st century is the era of knowledge and economy. Information will become the most important resource for human beings. CATV network is not only the second largest public connection net, but also the most potential and the richest broadband net. The technology of CATV broadband city area net allows the users to be online, watch TV and make calls at the same time. Therefore, it has aroused people’s interest and become one of the most important Internet Service Providers. We will make use of the advantages of VLAN technology to manage the CATV broadband city area net as its technology is becoming mature.
     The users’requirements and the amount of connection are increasing as the result of the rapid development of information technology and the heated competitions. Under these conditions, problems of operation and management of CATV broadband city area net can’t be solved completely no matter what methods are taken. For example, some illegal users go on line by unauthorized IP.
     This thesis is based on the application of VLAN technology in Liaoyang Broadband network construction. It furtherly analyzes the application of VLAN technology in the city area net.
     The body of this paper is: Firstly, the analysis of the basic theory of VLAN technology. The purpose is to emphasize its advantage that will completely solve the technological problems existing in the city broadband network. It includes: 1) the technology standard 2) the solutions of VLAN technology 3) the basic theory, classification and application 4) the realization of the technology Secondly, the analysis about the development of the technology. It includes: 1) the trend of setting up broadband IP city network and its application technology and equipment. 2) the service targets, requirements, solutions and opportunities. 3) the problems, solutions and design based on the analysis of the survey and situation of the city local area net work.. Thirdly, the most important as well as what I concern most is the design and disposition of VLAN in the broadband city area net. Lastly, it is about the summary and prospects of the application of VLAN technology in broadband city area net. The attracting point of the paper is how to solve the problems in the Broad Band Network. It is proved that the technology exerts its advantage to avoid unauthorized log-on, distribute network resource reasonably and control network broadcast storm. It not only breaks the limits of the traditional VLAN technology which was only applied to the local net, but also enhances the safety and efficiency of broadband net and plays an important role in specialized network and new network function in the future.
