VOD技术在部队多媒体教学中的实现

摘要
目前,部队的教学丰要采取传统的“四会”教学,在这种教学方式下,受训者大多只能被动地接受知识,不能根据自身的特点,选择有针对性的教学内容,一定程度上制约了部队教学水平的进一步提高。多媒体教学作为一种新兴的教学模式,能有效地弥补部队传统教学模式的不足,提高部队现有的教学水平,日益受到部队广大官兵的重视。
     近几年,军内局域网建设发展很快,很多部队的局域网建设延伸到了连队,有些部队的局域网直接到了班排。在此基础上,只要组建一台多媒体服务器就基本能利用VOD技术在部队局域网上实现多媒体教学的功能。
     为此,本论文根据部队局域网的实际情况,设计了一个基于Web的VOD系统在部队多媒体教学中的实现方案。并阐述了VOD系统中的若干关键技术,分析了VOD构建过程中的一些问题,并针对具体问题给出了合适的解决方案,如视频压缩、音频压缩、并发用户数量的控制等。
     本论文在方案的具体实现过程中,采用Real Serve作为流媒体服务器;采用JSP技术,动态牛成系统网页;采用Tomcat作为网页发布环境;采用JSP和JDBC数据库接口技术,将视频服务器和Web服务器在逻辑上完全分开;在运用协议传输视频文件时采用RTSP协议和HTTP协议的方式;利用COM技术,实现了客户端播放器在浏览器中的嵌入。
     本论文设计的系统初步实现了在部队现有局域网中利用VOD技术进行多媒体教学的功能,随着系统的进一步完善和优化,必将对我们单位广大官兵的日常教学起到很好的帮助作用。
At present, the traditional "four ability" instruction is mainly adopted in the army instruction. Under this instruction method, the trainees can only accept knowledge passively, and cannot select related instruction contents according to their own characteristics. Thus the further advance of the army instruction level is limited to some extent. As a kind of rising instruction mode, multimedia instruction can effectively make up for the traditional instruction mode and improve the army's instruction level. And then the army attaches importance to multimedia instruction increasingly.
     In recent years, the development of army LANs is very rapid. The LANs construction in many troops has been extended to companies and some even to platoons. On this basis, only one multimedia server is required to realize multimedia instruction in the army LANs utilizing the VOD technology.
     Therefore, in this paper an implementation scheme of web-based VOD order program system is designed according to the practical situation of the army LANs. In this paper, we introduce some key technologies of VOD system in detail, analyze some problems in the developing process, and give some appropriate solutions to the actual problems, such as video compression, audio compression and the control of concurrent user number, etc.
     In the practical realization process, we utilize Real Server as the stream media server, JSP technology to create the system page dynamically, Tomcat as the Web page publishing environment, JSP and JDBC database interface technologies to separate the video server and the Web server logically, as well as the RTSP and HTTP protocols to transfer video files. Additionally, we also adopt COM technology to realize the embedment of the client player in the browser.
     The designed system can preliminarily realize the multimedia instruction function using VOD technology in the army's existing LANs. With the gradually improvement and optimization of the system, it will be definitely helpful to the daily training and teaching of our army.
