WCDMA与GSM无线网共同组网技术研究

摘要
经过多年的发展和建设之后,GSM网络已经达到了较高的覆盖率。在3G建设初期,3G网络难以一步到位地实现全国连续覆盖,同时在覆盖区域内要达到2G那样的覆盖率也比较困难。WCDMA/GSM共同组网可以有效地解决这个问题,它是通过系统间的互操作,实现在两个系统间的漫游和业务互通,既要充分发挥WCDMA在新业务发展方面的优势,又要充分利用已有的GSM网络。
     论文对WCDMA/GSM互操作技术进行了研究,分别从电路域和分组域业务分析了两个系统间的切换及小区重选问题;依据WCDMA/GSM互操作原则,从功能需求、对2G网络的改动、用户感受以及对终端的要求几个方面综合考虑,经过分析得出互操作建议策略和实现方式;根据提出的互操作实施原则,具体分析空闲模式下双模终端驻留策略,网络选择策略,连接模式下各种业务的切换/重选策略,系统间负载均衡策略以及可视电话回落方案;分析了互操作性能表现,分别就互操作参数优化和时延进行了探讨;研究了WCDMA和GSM系统间邻区的设置思路和方法,给出了互操作性能优化及邻区配置的无线组网建议;最后对GSM设备升级详细要求和分析,统计了各厂商GSM BSS设备现网版本以及满足互操作各项要求的版本,提出了WCDMA/GSM互操作的测试方案,并给出了2G用户升级为3G用户策略,SIM卡和USIM卡的区别以及对2G用户漫游的限制方案。
The GSM network has already been reaching higher coverage rates after developing and building for many years afterwards. At the beginning of the 3G construction, it is hard to achieve the continuous coverage and the same coverage as the 2G network in the covering area. That WCDMA/GSM systems forms a network through the Inter operation, realizes roaming and the service intercommunication between the two systems, we must bring into full play the advantages of WCDMA in the new service development and must fully utilize the existing GSM network.
     This paper mainly research on the WCDMA/GSM Inter operation technology analysis, the implementation strategy, the performance optimization and the test in view of the wireless access network; the Inter operation technology and the main points of the GSM BSS system reforms is introduced; According to the principle of the Inter operation , make a concrete analysis of dual mode cell phone to stay tactics of staying, the network choose tactics under the idle mode, link operational mode switch / re-election strategy, load balancing strategy and the project of the videophone fall after rise between the systems; Analysis of the performance of Inter operation, discussing the parameter optimization and time delay separately; the method of setting the neighboring area between the WCDMA and GSM systems is studied; the suggestion of optimization the Inter operation performance and neighboring area configuration is given. Finally, a detailed requirements and analysis for GSM equipment upgrading is done, the Statistics of China Unicom GSM BSS equipment existing versions and the versions to meet the Inter operation requirements are done, and the strategy of the users upgrading from 2G to 3G , the differences between SIM and USIM cards ,and the restriction project of 2G users roaming are introduced.
