人脸识别理论关键技术的研究

摘要
身份认证是人们在日常生活中经常遇到的问题,几乎每时每刻都需要证明身份,在信息技术飞速发展的今天,电子商务、网上银行、公共安全等领域对身份认证的可靠度和方式提出了新的要求,传统的身份认证方法已经不能满足这些要求。但人脸作为特征具有不易伪造、不会遗失、终身不变性和随身携带的优点,与指纹、视网膜、虹膜、基因等其他人体生物特征识别系统相比,人脸识别系统更加直接、友好,使用者无任何心理障碍。
     人脸检测识别要求对受检人的身体伤害以及人身自由的限制最少。由人脸检测和人脸识别两个关键环节组成。人脸检测是指利用计算机在输入图像中确定所有人脸的位置、大小,是人脸信息处理中的一项关键技术。人脸识别是利用计算机分析人脸图像,进而从中提取有效的识别信息,用来“辨识”身份的一门技术。人脸识别的研究涉及心理学、生理学、人工智能、模式识别、计算机视觉、图像分析与处理等多个学科领域。它是人类智能的基本体现,它是最典型、最困难的模式识别问题之一,对这一问题的研究和解决,有助于对其他对象识别问题的研究和解决。人脸识别也因此成为这些基础研究领域的重要课题之一,具有重要的理论研究价值。本文的主要工作包括:
     本文分析了复杂环境下人脸检测的本质。即在复杂环境下检测出人脸区域及人脸大小,这一任务决定人脸检测具有不确定性。不确定性的主要原因有:a:由于光照和当时人的行动速度等因素造成了图像质量的不确定;b:图像中是否存在人脸以及人脸区域的大小是不确定的;c:人脸与非人脸之间的区别没有明确界定造成了概念之间的不确定性。人脸检测的不确定性决定了人脸检测不能
ID authentication is a common problem in our daily life. People have to prove their ID so often. As information technology develops fast nowadays, fields as electronic business, bank online, public security requires better reliability and approaches of ID authentication, so traditional ID authenticating approaches can no longer satisfy these requirements. Face features carried on person are not easy to falsify, and they won’t change much by age. Compare with fingerprint, retina, iris, gene etc biologic recognition approaches, face recognition conforms to our habits, which is direct, friendly, and won’t cause psychological obstacles.
     Face detection and recognition hardly brings any body damages and restrictions. Face detection and recognition consists of face detection and face identification. Face detection gets the location and size of faces in input image. Face identification analyzes and extracts features from the face image. Its purpose is to make use of features to authenticate the identity. Face identification technology involves psychology, physiology, AI, pattern recognition, computer vision, image analysis and processing fields. Especially, it’s basic revealing of human intelligence. It’s the most typical and difficult pattern recognition. The research and solving of this problem do benefits other object recognition problems. So face recognition of great theoretical research value becomes one of the important subjects of such basic research. Main work and contribution to face detection and recognition of this paper
